Load Restraint Training Perth

The aim of this non-accredited training course is to ensure transport industry personnel are aware of their responsibilities to secure and restrain loads correctly and to understand the basic safety principles that should be followed to ensure the safe carriage of loads. It includes a practical demonstration session on load placement and restraint techniques and incorporates practical exercises for participants.

This 6 hour course is aligned to the Load Restraint Guide 2nd Edition 2004 which covers the guidelines and performance standards for the safe carriage of loads on road vehicles. It also meets the training requirements of WA Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Mass Management and Dimension & Loading Management Standards.

The course should be attended by drivers, owner operators and freight consignors.
